Ukraine breaks a world record by planting over 4 million trees in one day! It’s the world’s best in greening the planet!

Over 5 million trees were planted in 110 countries, gathering 2 145 493 people in a great campaign. 5 544 679 trees (4 124 590 of them in Ukraine) in literally one day.

Actually, the initial goal of the Greening of the Planet initiative was 1 million trees globally, but why not? Especially, when it comes to climate action, saving the planet’s biodiversity and drawing attention to environmental issues. Remember that everyone can act in a very easy way! Just try to use less plastic, cut on water and energy consumption at home or work, and (re)cycle from time to time. Our children would be grateful for that as well as planting trees.
