The Ukrainian director Tanu Muino was recognised as the Best Director at the MTV Video Music Awards 2021.
Furthermore, her video “Montero (Call me by your name)” for the American rapper Lil Nas X got Video of the year and Best visual effects, winning 3 out of 5 nominations.
Tanu Muino has also created videos for Katy Perry, Yungblud, Rosalía, Cardi B and Lizzo.
