Now we’ll tell you about Third quantization. No-no-no, don’t go, it’s only a Ukrainian team name! It became 3rd at the International Physics Olympiad for Undergraduate Students!

Among 276 competing teams, the Ukrainian team representing Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv finished higher than other universities — for example, Stanford, Berkeley, Cambridge, Cornell, Chicago, California, MIPT. 

Final results

Ukrainians came right after the teams from MIT — Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which is considered one of the best universities of the world.
